Biography

Dr. Karthikeyan T is a highly trained cardiologist with extensive experience in both non-invasive and interventional cardiology. He completed his MBBS from Government Kilpauk Medical College, MD in General Medicine from Government Assam Medical College, and DrNB in Cardiology from Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bengaluru. Beginning his medical career as a Resident at Government Assam Medical College in 2015, Dr. Karthikeyan pursued advanced cardiology training from 2022 at Narayana Hrudayalaya. During his residency, he received extensive training in both non-invasive and interventional cardiology, including the management of critically ill patients in CCU, emergency, ward, and outpatient settings. During his residency, he performed and assisted in over 2200 Cath Lab procedures, including coronary angioplasty, right heart catheterization, and congenital heart interventions. He is also trained in advanced echocardiography, including 3D TTE, TEE, and structural heart imaging. A recipient of the Prime Minister’s Scholarship and Second Place winner in the 2024 Indian Academy of Echocardiography Quiz, Dr. Karthikeyan is known for his clinical excellence and patient-focused care.
