Indiana Hospital & Heart Institute is expanding its healthcare services with a new unit in Kannur, marking another significant milestone in its commitment to accessible, quality healthcare. The foundation stone for the new hospital was laid on 21st August 2026 by Dr. Yusuf Kumble, Prof. Dr. Ali Kumble, along with the Directors and staff of Indiana Hospital. The upcoming facility will be a 200-bed multispecialty hospital, equipped to provide comprehensive and advanced medical care across various specialties. The hospital is planned for completion within 18 months and is expected to create significant employment opportunities, with an estimated potential to provide jobs for around 500 people, contributing meaningfully to the healthcare and economic development of the region.
